Candace Nicole's review of the movie Fifty Shades of Grey

First, I want to say congratulations to the actors, Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, their on screen chemistry was believable and they both played the parts very well (even though they do not look how I imagined them). The sex scenes were AMAZING!!!!! Graphic enough but done tastefully.
In most books that have been made into movies, us true book readers know to expect some changes. It makes perfect sense because a movie can’t show/explain everything like a book. But I was disappointed in the HUGE changes they made in Fifty Shades of Grey.

In the books, Anastasia Steel had a very close relationships with her best friend Katherine Kavanagh and Jose Rodriguez, who she said was like a brother to her. What people need to understand is that Katherine loved Anastasia and even though she thought Christian was “hot”, she kept warning Anastasia that “he’s dangerous.” There is also a time when Katherine and Christian get into a heated argument, because Anastasia is always crying since he entered her life.

Jose (not knowingly) causes a lot of conflict between Christian and Anastasia. Jose is in love with her and Christian is jealous of their relationship. Both men, don’t care for each other and it’s evident, in the books.

When Anastasia lost her virginity to Christian, in the movie, the scene was hot but romantic. In reality, when I read the scene, I thought Christian was the biggest asshole. I felt this way, because instead of being gentle with her, he thrust himself inside of her. I get that you don’t make love but damn at least let the girl get accustomed to you.
Anastasia loved her car, an old VW Beetle aka "Wanda", which was gifted to her from Jose’s mother. But when Christian saw her car, he had a temper tantrum calling it a “death trap.” During the movie, he wasn’t fazed by seeing her car, he was more concerned with trying to convince her to engage in sexual activities.

My final issue…where was Ms. Gail Jones? For you all who don’t know who that is, she is Christian’s house keeper. Come on, Ms. Jones was always around except for on the weekends.

Here are my ratings for the movie Fifty Shades of Grey:
A+ for sex scenes
C+ for overall movie

Why Doesn't He Respect Me?

I often hear women complain about their man or men in general not respecting them. Yes, there are some jerks out there who don't have any home training, but this article isn't about them. Ladies, my question to you is…Do you love and respect yourself? Love and respect go hand in hand. When you love yourself, you will demand respect. I am going to discuss three major topics: your clothing, your language and what you accept. Your Clothing The way you dress is a direct reflecting of you and how you value yourself. If you wear clothing that are extremely revealing, it states, “I want attention, whether it’s good or bad. Just look at me.” Men are going to think you are loose and looking for a good time. On the other hand, if your clothing are excessively baggy, you are telling the world “I have low self-esteem and don’t think I am good enough.” First impressions last a lifetime, so what are your clothes saying about you? Your Language If every other wo...
