What Christmas Means To Me

Recently, I was asked what Christmas means to me and to be honest around the holidays I become irritated and grouchy. I have been in such a funk that I was called Scrooge and The Grinch.

Now, don't get me wrong, I don't hate Christmas I just despise what it now stands for. Everyone is so caught up in buying presents, because the kids have huge lists or they are in competition with others who can spend the most money; that they don't remember the true meaning.

Christmas isn't about only about gifts, decorating trees, Santa Clause, it's about spending time with friends and family...making wonderful memories. Memories are going to stay with you forever, not gifts. This Christmas take the time to appreciate one another, rebuild relationships and most importantly show the world some love.
Happy Holidays.

Love Always,
Candace Nicole

Missed you!

Hi everyone!   It's been awhile since I have written to you all, but sometimes life just gets in the way. A lot has happened in the last three years, some sad and others amazing. Let's focus on the fun things...my family and I moved into a wonderful neighborhood. I have been social and hanging out with a few ladies for girls night which is a good time...laughing and drinking. I've been very active in my son's school, I'm there so much that kids have asked me if I live there. I have adopted two beautiful fur babies, Olivia Nicole and Isabella...I'm obsessed with my cats. Yes, I will admit I'm the crazy cat lady. In the Spring I will be releasing a new book. It's so much fun writing about Delilah.  What have you been up too?                                          ...
